What is Management Quota for Law Admission in IP University?
Every unaided affiliated law college under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) reserves 10% of total seats as Management Quota per Section 12(1)(a) of the Delhi Professional Colleges Act, 2007 (Chapter 12 of the GGSIPU UG Brochure 2026-27, pages 121-128). University Schools (USL&LS), minority and government institutions are excluded.
Management quota does NOT bypass the entrance qualifier. Per Chapter 12 Note 2 + Important Instruction #21 of the brochure, the candidate must have qualified CLAT UG 2026 (priority 1) or CUET UG 2026 (priority 2) — otherwise the application is rejected at registration. Open School / NIOS candidates are NOT eligible per BCI Letter BCI:D:1823/2010 dated 31.11.2010.
Tuition is regulated — the same as merit seats, per the 6th SFRC Delhi Gazette Notification dated 14.07.2025 (Appendix 13(i)). Capitation fee is prohibited under Section 12 of the DPCI Act 2007. An additional Rs. 2,500 registration fee applies per Chapter 12.
Eligibility for BA LL.B Management Quota (Programme Code 121)
- Passed Class 12 from recognised board with English (core / elective / functional) as a subject — 50% aggregate minimum (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD) per UG Brochure 2026-27 Ch 2.
- Valid CLAT UG 2026 score is mandatory (priority 1). CUET UG 2026 is also accepted (priority 2 — vacant-seat fallback per Important Instruction #37).
- BCI eligibility bar: Open School / NIOS candidates are NOT eligible (BCI Letter BCI:D:1823/2010 dated 31.11.2010).
- Maximum age 22 years (24 years for reserved categories) as on the cut-off date per BCI rules.
- Participation in the college's published management-quota admission process (newspaper advertisement + online portal per Rule 8(2)(a)(ii) of DPCI Rules 2007).

Law Admission Process through Management Quota
