IPU B.Tech Admission via CUET – Overview

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) offers B.Tech admission through CUET (Common University Entrance Test) scores in addition to JEE Main. CUET provides an alternative pathway for students who have not appeared in JEE Main but wish to pursue B.Tech at IP University affiliated colleges in Delhi NCR.

Eligibility for IPU B.Tech via CUET 2026

• Passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)
• Minimum 55% aggregate marks in PCM subjects in Class 12
• Valid CUET score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics domain subjects
• No age bar for admission via CUET pathway
• Must fulfill IPU registration and document requirements

CUET vs JEE Main: Which Pathway to Choose?

GGSIPU accepts both CUET and JEE Main scores for B.Tech admission. Separate merit lists are prepared for each pathway. Students who performed better in CUET than JEE Main should apply through the CUET pathway. Both pathways lead to admission in the same affiliated colleges and programs.
