GGSIPU Issues Warning Against Fake Admission Agents and Touts

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has released an official notification warning prospective students and their parents about fraudulent individuals and touts. These unauthorized agents falsely claim to guarantee seats or secure direct admissions for the academic session 2026-27 in exchange for money.

Key Guidelines for Safe Admission

To protect yourself from admission scams, keep the following points in mind:

• No Direct Admissions: GGSIPU does not offer direct admissions through external agencies. Any offer of a guaranteed seat outside the official merit list is fraudulent.
• Official Portals Only: All registration, fee payments, and choice filling must be done exclusively through the official GGSIPU portals (ipu.ac.in and ipu.admissions.nic.in).

Reporting Fraudulent Activities

If you are approached by any individual or agency claiming to have an "admission quota" or promising a seat through unfair means, you are advised to report the matter immediately to the university administration or local law enforcement authorities.
